NaNoWriMo Events at Milk Wood & Bookstacks

We hope you can join us this November for some excellent write-ins at Milk Wood and Bookstacks. Bookstacks is also running weekly workshops. This is just an initial list of events, we’re all scrambling to get it together with the imminent (and super sad) demise of the NaNo Cafe on sLiterary. Please keep an eye out for notices from Virtual Writers Inc and Bookstacks as we add events.

Write-ins at Milk Wood

Monday-Friday:
6-7am: Dash and Word Wars

9:30-10:30am: Write-in (word wars and plot doctoring)

6-7pm: Dash and Word Warring
(at Bookstacks on Thursdays)

Saturday/Sunday: 12-1pm: Write-in (word wars and plot doctoring)

Thursday: 6-8pm Write-ins at Bookstacks’ Book Fayre (including Thanksgiving evening)

Oct. 31 – NaNoWriMo kick-off: 6-9pm

Workshops at Bookstacks Pub

Nov. 10: 6:30pm: Workshop with Arlene Radasky/Imarad Breen on reading their work aloud, recording it, and listening back for a more complete editing process.

Nov 13: 8am: Building a character slam book with Emerain Rich (Emz Mazie).

Nov. 17: 7am: Workshop by author Cassandra Curtis.

Nov.17: 7:30pm: Workshop by author Cora Zane.

Nov. 24: Thanksgiving in the US – no workshop, but write-in will be held.
