Published on Friday, October 11, 2013 by

Each month we select the best 15-minute Writers’ Dash submission made through our blog comment system or through our submission page.

The winner this month is Simonetta Martella for her charming poem titled Glass.

Glass Large_Editor_Choice

I am a house made of glass
that the mere touch of me
has me shaken to pieces
And the touch of me
slashes me apart shattering
me like a shimmering
crystalline stream
And all the custom work
cut like a diamond is undone
And the builders forever
vow that there will
never be another one
and none will ever be
satisfied of anyone but me
for I will never be replicated
nor able to be duplicated
for I am priceless and one of a kind
